Didgeridoo Festivals We find awesome festivals in Germany, Switzerland, England, Italy, France, Japan and USA, with the list growing every year. We have found that in general the festivals are all well run and will leave you wanting and waiting on the next!! After attending a few festivals, which attracted over 1500 didgeridoo players of every age from around the world, I can strongly recommend that you get along to one or more this year. It's a time of sharing techniques, styles, rhythms, stories, skills, fun, family and life experiences with so many wonderful people from all over the planet! There are didgeridoo festivals right across the globe. What can we say, put one of these on you calendar as soon as possible! AUSTRALIA GARMA FESTIVAL Regarded as one of Australia's most significant Indigenous festivals, the Garma Festival attracts around 20 clan groups from north east Arnhem Land, as well as representatives from clan groups and neighbouring Indigenous peoples throughout Arnhem Land, the Northern Territory and Australia. The Garma Festival, Australia's leading cultural exchange event will be held at Gulkula, North East Arnhem Land, NT. Garma is a nationally significant, intimate, spectacular celebration of cultural traditions and practices dance, song, music, and art (including presentations, collaborations, sales) and the annual venue for a major Key Forum on Indigenous issues.
