Length:
95cm - 170cm.
Bell Diameter: 7.3cm.
Weight: 0.6kg with bag.
Key: Low B to high G.
Material: High-quality, Australian-made PVC.

Suitable for beginners and performers alike, the Didjeribone is a lightweight and versatile instrument. Weighing less than 0.5kg, the Didjeribone uses a minimum of materials so it can be played in a variety of positions, and is unlikely to break or cause damage if it is dropped. Custom made extrusion dies ensure a minimum clearance between the two pipes, so the Didjeribone slides effortlessly between keys (ranging from low B to high G), but does not allow air to escape when fully extended. The rubber mouthpiece makes for easy contact with the lips and is the optimal size for ease of play, and does not require the wax often used to made wood didgeridoos playable. The flared bell gives the Didjeribone a brighter and louder sound than other linear shaped didgeridoos. A long-standing tried and tested professional instrument, the Didjeribone is now in it's updated and improved 3rd generation.

The Didjeribone was invented by Charlie McMahon who first put the didgeridoo in a contemporary music context with the GONDWANALAND band. From over 40 years as a didge player Charlie has been able to design the Didjeribone as a versatile and easy to play instrument.

  • Smooth slide action.
  • Permanent and clearly etched key marks.
  • Replaceable rubber mouth-piece. .
  • Flared bell.
  • Lightweight and durable.
  • 100% Australian made and owned.
  • Ships with Didjeribone calico travel bag.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The key markings on the Didjeribone are not pitch (Hz) accurate, as the actual pitch will vary slightly depending on the player. Because of this the markings may be as much as 40mm out. Compensating for this is easy and simple, just adjusting the slide distance or us a simple guitar tuner to calculate actual slide difference.

Only wish for improvement of the didgebone would be to be able to play low A also. Works best for me. If you have any idea where to get one with low A would be more than happy. On a positive note the service and speed with you guys is awesome. Will definitely order again some day.

Ordering + lessons January 28, 2017
Reviewer: Roberto Quintarelli from Bondi Junction, New South Wales Australia
Sashi you are the best teacher I've seen or experienced, explaining in a simple way and so clear and detailed how to use specific techniques in playing the didgeridoo and the clear steps in guiding you and showing you how to become a professional player.

Thank you very much, I struggled with the didgeridoo because I was lacking confident in what I was doing was probably wrong, so it confused me not knowing how to really rehearse. Thank you for showing me
